"The Merger II"
This image features 3 different, modern, engines found on the BNSF lines today. From left to right are: GE Dash9 (Heritage 1 scheme) 2 EMD SD75i's (red and silver warbonnet scheme) and a EMD BN SD70MAC (Executive scheme). The engines are sitting at the westbound fuel rack, in the Belen, NM yards, being serviced and getting a crew change. On a busy day this yard will see over 100 trains come through. It was one of my favorite haunts before moving to the Midwest. Print size: 16"x27".
